Romantic Weekends in The
Loft Suite - recently refurbished to a high standard incorporating a
kitchen, lounge and sumptuous double bedroom - with a bottle of
champagne awaiting you - only £199.00 per couple per two night break
Open daily for coffee, beverages, full "a
la carte" menu and light snacks. Simple, honest but "modern" food,
using fresh local produce is offered from 12 - 2.30 pm and 6.00 -
9.00pm each day. Sandwiches and light snacks available all day.
 On Sundays from 12 midday through until 9 pm, we offer a delicious
carvery with a choice of 3 different roast meats as well as our
normal full a la carte menu.
The Hanmer Arms is a traditional inn set
in a beautiful rural village offering a truly warm welcome, great
service and superb accommodation.
We are
situated on the borders of Shropshire, Cheshire and Clwyd,
incorporating 3 counties. Only 5 miles from Whitchurch, 10 miles
from Wrexham, and 5 miles from Ellesmere, with neighbouring Malpas
in Cheshire very close by, places The Hanmer Arms in a
 unique spot
and a perfect stopping off point for coffee, lunch, afternoon
refreshments or evening dinner. Friendly staff with good food and a
warm atmosphere makes for an enjoyable break and provides an
opportunity to see some spectacular countryside, alongside
the beautiful Mere in a picturesque village.
We are now happy to offer
the local community a place to meet, chat, quaff and eat, once
again. The Hanmer Arms holds some great memories in its eaves, of
great ambience and happy times - as all such hostelries should.
