"My family had our Mothers 65th Birthday at the Hanmer Arms last weekend
and I just wanted to thank you, it was a wonderful evening, the staff
were very friendly and the food was fantastic. My family are from Hanmer
originally, we lived in the Vicarage for many years, although we moved
away back in the mid-eighties. We still "come home" now and again and it
was amazing to see how the Hanmer Arms has changed. The last time I was
there I was five years old, I think it was my grandfathers birthday!
I was just recommending you to a friend when I noticed on your website
it says Hanmer is in Shropshire. I'm sure you'll find if you drive in
from Whitchurch you pass a sign saying "Welcome to Wales". As a very
patriotic Welshman I thought I'd just point this out :-)
Once again thank you for a wonderful evening, one my Mother will
