Saturday 14th September
The award-winning bus-based Real Ale Trail festival is coming to rural pubs in Shropshire on 14th September 2019 after the success of the first Trail in April! Spend a day with friends rediscovering the charm of quintessential English pubs and unique real ales, without having to worry about who’s driving! The Shropshire bus based real ale trail takes you off the beaten track to some of the best pubs, found in the villages and towns dotted around Shropshire County.
Shropshire has a long tradition of brewing, and today has 19 microbreweries brewing a range of styles. The Shropshire Real Ale Trail is a great way to sample these local ales, which often can only be found in pub local to the brewery.
Enjoy a day out with friends without needing a designated driver! Our dedicated buses arrive every 30-45 minutes at each pub to pick you up and drop you off between 11 am and 10 pm, giving you the freedom to stay as long or as little in each pub.
Stopping at Shrewsbury and Wem, as well as other smaller villages like Loppington and Hodnet. 8 pubs, are currently signed up for the trail, serving up delicious quality ale, home-cooked food with a warm welcome to boot.
Each pub is chosen for its hospitality, atmosphere and of course selection of Real Ale, usually brewed by local microbreweries such as Salopian, Battlefield, Woods Brewery and Three Tons Brewery! Each pub has a minimum of 3 Real Ales to try, with up to 50 Real Ales to sample on the day. For further information, please visit www.realaletrail.co.uk
